Calling all Digital Artists in the Illawarra and NSW  - there is a new website dedicated to Digital Art Practice

 ILLAWARRA DIGITAL ARTS COLLECTIVE   or  iDAC

The aim of the Illawarra Digital Arts Collective, is to promote digitally based art practice to as wide an audience as possible.

It is hoped that this website will be a focus for the discussion and dissemination of ideas and artworks that have in some way been created by digital editing techniques. These include all 2D, 3D and 4D media as well as sound works

The website is open to all locally practicing artists, and within reason, other Australian digital artists who do not have their own websites or means of displaying their creations to a wider audience. This interactive website provides a certain amount of free space for digital artists to have their own web and gallery space where they can manage an online presence themselves in an easy non-technical manner without any knowledge of HTML.
