Waterfront, quiet location, close to Wollongong. You would have thought the Eastern Bristlebirds of Barren Grounds would have been 'flocking' to trappers Baker and Clarke for this once in a lifetime opportunity to be translocated to the Cataract Dam catchment. This image provides a snapshot of the 'drop off' point at Cataract Dam where two endangered Bristlebirds that have been translocated from Barren Grounds Nature Reserve are being released from transport cages to join other translocated Bristlebirds and hopefully repopulate this area.
