"Headland under threat"

The beauty of this headland in Wollongong, conceals the fact that it is dominated almost completely by an invasive weed from South Africa, bitou bush (Chrysanthemoides monilifers ssp. rotundata). Only a couple of native shrubs still remain on this once species rich headland.
