The Grandis (a Flooded Gum; Eucalyptus grandis) is one of the tallest trees in NSW and contains numerous hollow limbs suitable for occupation by hollow dependent fauna. Unfortunately the forest surrounding the tree is at least 100 years away from producing hollows so if anything happened to The Grandis (eg destruction by fire) there would be nowhere for hollow dependent fauna to survive in the surrounding forest.
