An Australian Antarctic Division vessel resupplies sub-Antarctic Macquarie Island by helicopter. Macquarie Is., situated just above the Antarctic convergence, features the most equitable climate on earth (smallest difference between summer and winter temperatures) and has received a overnight dusting of snow in this photo. University of Wollongong researchers are on route to Antarctica to examine impacts of Global Climate Change.
