Surrounded by thick forest on the south coast of NSW, Kym is recording the locations of individual Banksia spinulosa plants. This is part of an ongoing study which has been running for fifteen years so far. The yearly flower and seed numbers are recorded and some of the seeds are collected from each plant to determine their genetic identity.
