Iceberg Alley Mawson ( $90 )

22. In February 2005 we were trying to get to Mawson by ship but the sea ice was too thick so the ship had to turn around and go back to Hobart. We waited for a few days hoping the wind would blow the ice out but as you can see in these pictures the sea was as calm as a millpond.
