13. In Invasion, green on green, Bryum pseudotriquetrum (the light green moss) is invading over the top of the endemic species Schistidium antarctici (olive green). The beige stuff on the right is dead moss on the edge of the station’s melt water pond, possibly caused by an accidental discharge of hot water.
